Brijlal Biyani Science College, is committed to provide suitable enabling environment to the students with special needs and those coming from the deprived background and girls students of the college. An ‘Equal Opportunity Cell’ has been established at Brijlal Biyani Science College comprising of the following members as per the scheme of the UGC. Dr. Deepak Dhote - Chair Person Dr. Prachi Agrawal - Convener Dr. Suruchi Kadu - Member Dr. Girish Daga - Member Following activities were conducted during the session 2019-20. The Equal Opportunity Cell of the college ensures that all students are treated as equal and attempts to address deep-seated inequalities in our system. The ground floor of the college and its rest rooms are wheel chair accessible. The work of elevator is also in progress, which will facilitate the movement of physically challenged on all the floors of the college.Our college has always ensured that physically challenged students do not get left behind in the learning process. Teachers pay more attention to their special needs and provide them more encouragement and support by conducting special classes for them after college hours. Also, the staff and management make it their prerogative to provide scribes for these students during tests and exams. The cell also guides SC/ ST students too avail of all permissible scholarships and financial assistance. The Annual Social Gathering of the college was inaugurated by Ms. Sayali Prakash Mhasayee, a physically challenged girl. Another physically challenged girl Ms. Prasanna P. Durne was given the opportunity to hoist the National Flag on 26th January 2020. Women Health Camp Detection of blood group and estimation of Hb gm% of the girls studying in I year of B.Sc. and B.Com of our college was carried out at Zoology Department under the co-ordination of Dr. P.R.Agrawal along with Dr. R.R.Leharia, Assist.
